Teaching
Jane Vandenburgh has taught writing and literature at the University of California, Davis, at the George Washington University and at Georgetown, in Washington, D.C. She currently teaches a year-long workshop in the writing of the book-length narrative through Fishtrap, a writers’ community located in Joseph, Oregon. She will be Writer in Residence at St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California during the spring of 2010.
In October 2009, Jane Vandenburgh will teach an Introductory Workshop to Architecture of the Novel at Book Passage in Corte Madera. The workshop consists of two classes:
Saturday, October 10th: Plot and Story
Saturday, October 17th: The Mechanics of Narrative Time
Both classes are from 10 AM to 4 PM, and each costs $85. They can be taken separately or together.
Starting in July of 2010, Jane will be teaching the Year-long Novel Writing Workshop at Fishtrap.
